It makes perfect sense that Lauren Conrad just launched her own fashion website; she did get her start at Teen Vogue, after all! Between food and fashion, primping and party-planning, she has a lot of wisdom about a little of everything.
So if you follow up on daily Fashion Blog posts, then it should be no news to you that Lauren Conrad, along with Allure Magazine, her make up artist, Amy Nadine and hairstylist, Kristin Ess, launched thebeautydepartment.com, which is a site that will offer beauty tips like "How to do the hottest runway tricks. How to wear purple eyeliner. How to do beach curls," according to Conrad. The site which officially launched on April 19 is absolutely fabulous and even featured its first video how-to tutorial featuring Lauren Conrad herself, demonstrating how to do her famous cat-eye/winged liner that she is so famously known for. It was only a matter of time until she was finally on the cover of Conde' Nast's beauty publication. She was part of the famous publishing company after all, when she was an intern for Teen Vogue!

Lauren's wardrobe advice is awesome, and her smart tips for the perfect red pout are brilliant, but the cutest part of the whole site has to be her supercute recipe for making homemade "sushi" with marshmallow Peeps! Who knew sweets could be so chic?
No stranger to cameras, Lauren Conrad brings her own crew to document her time at the studio. LC is back with the cap on her book trilogy in "Sugar & Spice." The fashionista also discusses her newer, darker hair style and gives the host some personal style tips. Hosted by Oliver Trevena.
